While there are certainly similarities to models of the past, I’ve never experienced a Puma shoe that was this comfortable while still being so stable.
Rickie Fowler may be young, but his performance on the course is not something that should be slept on. His involvement in the process of creating the Puma Ignite ProAdapt resulted in a top-of-the-range product that both pros and amateurs can appreciate.
This model features a blend of technologies working simultaneously. Through this, comfort, traction, and stability, also known as the golf trifecta, are all achieved.
Hello Tornado. The ProAdapt is a spiked shoe that uses a dual talon cleat system called the Tornado. It provides long-lasting and excellent traction to prevent slip when walking and making a swing. Replacements should also not be a problem as it is easy to change using the Fast Twist 3.0.
TPU for the high-performance shoe. The entire outsole of this Puma golf shoe is made up of premium TPU to make it abrasion-resistant. The combination of both technologies arms the trainer for all-condition and varied-surface wear.
No break-in is necessary. Puma certainly banked on their propriety foam. After reaping its benefits in basketball and running, golf comes next in line. The stable cushioning system, excellent step-in comfort, and energy return are all traits that are useful on the links.
Lasting comfort. The interior of the shoe is placed with an incredibly soft yet supportive polyurethane insole. It helps the golfer improve his performance because it delivers long-lasting comfort and incredible fit.
Only the best for the Pro. The Puma Ignite ProAdapt’s upper is constructed with a full-grain Atlantis leather. The material is soft to the feel and is one of high quality.
Fit. The collar of the shoe sports an interesting design. It is made from premium leather and is composed of two layers and decoupled. This structure mimics the comfort of a running shoe without sacrificing the fashion of a high-end leather shoe.
Fowler’s input on the ProAdapt highly reflected in the aesthetics of the shoe. On the course, his fearlessness can be seen. It translates to his explorative fashion choices as he shows no fear of wearing colors.
Though color is not precisely his signature style, the shoe gets injected with a slight color treatment on the sole. Three colorways are available for this model: black, gray, and white. Several limited-edition pieces are also available. Some of them include the Players Championship and the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
- The trainer includes a one-year waterproof warranty.
- The ProAdapat gained plus points when it was worn by Fowler during the Waste Management Phoenix Open. He put the shoe to the test when he played it in harsh conditions and claimed victory.
- Unfortunately for those who are fans of the Disc, this model will not be available in this lacing system because the athlete happens to be not a fan.
- Bearing similar features, this shoe is the direct replacement of the Titan Tour.
