Smoothly contoured, the Adidas GameCourt is a fresh update to the Barricade Court, presented with a minimalist aesthetic. What sets the GameCourt apart from its predecessor is the use of a strong mesh upper with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) layering. The plastic casing allows heat to escape from inside the shoe while delivering support on the ankle, heel, and forefoot.
The bootie upper offers a snug fit while keeping the foot in place when moving. The midsole is sustained by an injection-molded EVA that’s responsible in buffering the foot from impact. At its base, the Adiwear outsole offers good adherence on any court layout.
This shoe is constructed with the Adiwear 6, a type of rubber outsole used in high-performance tennis shoes. The full herringbone tread pattern promotes the right amount of contact and grip on different court surfaces.
Offering internal support to the arch and heel is the Cloudfoam midsole cushioning. Such property not only affords protection but delivers a responsive feel too. Such type of underfoot padding enables players to survive in rounds of court matches while enjoying locked-in comfort.
The one-piece, sock-like upper is composed of a TPU-fortified mesh. It is crafted to deliver an outstanding mix of strength, endurance, and comfort. Despite having a snug-fitting bootie makeup, where the tongue is attached to the collar, its shell permits air to circulate in and out of the shoe for enhanced comfort.
Adidas’ GameCourt may not be as durable as other Three Stripes tennis shoes, but its very light build permits users to perform rapid footwork on clay and hard courts.
- The GameCourt Multicourt belongs to the newly-formed Adidas Court family, a tennis shoe line that replaces the Barricade heritage.
- Some of the siblings of the GameCourt are Adidas Court Boost, Adidas CourtJam Bounce, and Adidas SoleCourt Boost.
